Randy D. Dardar Sr.

LYC President

Brother Randy D. Dardar, Sr. was baptized in 1972 at Railroad Avenue Church of Christ and preached his first sermon at the age of sixteen. A graduate of Spartan School of Aeronautics, Saint Leo University, and WBI School of Ministry, he has devoted his life to preaching, teaching, and serving God’s people. He currently serves as the minister of the Gibson Church of Christ, President of the Louisiana Youth Conference, and Vice President of Concerned Citizens of Gibson.

Brother Dardar is deeply passionate about sharing the gospel, encouraging the next generation, and serving wherever the Lord leads. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for 43 years and are blessed with four children and four grandchildren. Guided by John 9:4 — “Work while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” — he strives to inspire others to walk faithfully with Christ and embrace a life of service and purpose.

Jawaski J. Parker

LYC Executive Director of Education

Bro. Jawaski J. Parker was baptized in 2003 at Louisiana Ave Church of Christ in Lafayette, La. He served faithfully at the congregation for 10 years. He begun preaching at the Thomas Jefferson Church of Christ in Hemphill, Tx. for 3 years. He was appointed the ministry of the Church of Christ @ Northside in 2013 where he now serves. In 2025, he graduated from SJBI with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Education for the Louisiana Youth Conference.

Bro Parker is highly motivated by the Saviors call in Matthew 9:37 “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” to be about the Father’s business. He and his wife, Tiffiany, have been married for 10 years and are blessed with three children. He is thankful for every opportunity and every door the Lord opens for us to do his will!

Stanley Rankins Jr.

Executive Director

Stanley Rankins, Jr. was baptized at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ in 1985 and has served as minister for the congregation since 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Louisiana Tech University (1982) and an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from World Bible Institute (2013). He retired from the State of Louisiana in 2011 following more than twenty years as a Probation and Parole Agent and Specialist. He is currently treasurer of the Gulf Coast Lectureship and serves as Executive Director over Publicity, Social Media, and Fundraising for the Louisiana Youth Conference.

Bro. Rankins “first love” in the ministry is working with youth in the church and community as he served as Youth Director before assuming the role of minister. He and his wife, Della, have been married for forty years and have three children and one grandchild. His preferred passage of scripture is Psalms 118:6: “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” He remains committed to supporting those in need and providing leadership towards spiritual growth within the congregation and within the Louisiana Youth Conference.
